Seven Oaks Country Clubs - Seven Oaks Country Club is the newest and most luxurious in the city, with the highest density of million-dollar-plus homes surrounding the 18-hole golf course with tennis courts, plus an additional 9 hole course west of Buena Vista. Women's Council of Realtors - Mary serves as the 2011 California State District Vice Presidenet of WCR: She served as 2007 President of the Bakersfield Chapter of the Women's Council, and remains an active member, publishing the monthly newsletter and website. WCR is the 12th largest professional women's organization in the nation, and provides a great referral network for finding the top realtors to assist you wherever you are relocating! | Alliance Against Family Violence & Sexual Assault - My husband Tom and I have enjoyed donating and hosting our annual Margarita Fiesta Party for 25 couples to the Alliance's Mardi Gras fundraiser, for five consecutive years. The Alliance is a cornerstone in our community, with programs to Prevent abuse, provide Protection for victims, and through Advocacy work towards their goal of stopping domestic and sexual assault within our community. The Alliance is a member of United Way. | |
| Kern Community Foundation Women's & Girls' Fund - The Mission Statement says it all: "We will transform the lives of women and girls in Kern County by mobilizing the power and passion of women working together." Women Educate and create awareness; women Endow the fund, and Women Empower one another and our girls to become philanthropists and advocates of positive social change.
